Fresh from a string of sell-out shows across the USA, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, and starring in the new “Nitro Circus 3D” film hitting cinemas on November 15th, the Nitro Circus Live crew will be bringing its incredible mix of death defying stunts, mind-blowing tricks and crazy antics to Regional Australia from March to June 2013, in a show like nothing country Australia has ever experienced before.
Joining the tour having just sold out London’s 20,000 seat O2 Arena, the massive cast of 40 athletes includes 13 times X Games medallist Nate Adams (USA), the only rider performing consistent double backflips, Cam Sinclair (AUS) as well as multiple X Games medallists Blake ‘Bilko’ Williams (AUS) and Sydney X Fighters Champion Josh Sheehan (AUS).
The FMX athletes and will be joined by some of the best BMX riders in the world including X-Games medalist and double front-flipping Aussie Andy Buckworth (AUS) and James Foster (USA), the only man in the world who is regularly throwing down the triple backflip.
Also hurling himself off the 50 foot high Nitro Gigant-A-Ramp, will be the inspirational Aaron “Wheelz” Fotheringham (USA), the world’s only extreme wheelchair athlete.
Wheelz has lived with the debilitating effects of Spina Bifida his whole life yet he’s completing tricks that most able-bodied people would be too timid to even contemplate. Having honed his skills in skate parks at home in the US, he now regularly pulls backflips and even front flips off the Nitro Gigant-A-Ramp, a feat no one else in the world has even tried.
Add to this, world number 1 inline skater, Chris Haffey and freestyle scooter maestro, Ryan Williams, and you have all the elements of the full international touring show
Not only will the Nitro Circus Live crew be performing the biggest tricks in FMX and BMX, they will also be pushing their limits and skill on a range of crazy contraptions on the amazing mutli-million dollar set, including an Esky, Barbie car, toy trike, shopping trolley, boogie board and many more.
Among the individual performance highlights, fans can look forward to witnessing the most incredible choreographed riding routines ever seen, including the “Nitro Bomb” featuring 18 riders in the air, upside down at the same time and the world record breaking rider train, with 35 riders wheel to wheel, one behind the other.
The regional Australian tour will take in regional towns in Tasmania, Victoria, Queensland and New South Wales.
